Hello, I'm a student who's currently doing an Ancient Mythology concept art project at college; in this project I have to find some drawings and ask their respective artist some questions about them. I've seen this drawing and I really love it, so firstly I would like to ask your permission to use it in my project and secondly, if the answer to the previous question is yes, I would like to know if you could kindly answer some questions about your drawing. If you agree then please reply me back so I'll send you the questions, if not thank you anyway.
He is tired, so very tired. Made durable from years of battle his sense are keen, more so than others. His knowledge is key to his victory. However, this same knowledge weighs him down, as he has had to earn that knowledge. And that prized possesion... is Never easy. I like the depth the image has, the scale of the castle in the background, its all so grandiose, it puts into perspective; what he's fighting for? the stakes of the game he plays? What he's about to do? His surroundings raise all these questions. The raven is a symbol of Odin yes, and his face is hard to read so I wonder what he has taken from that omen. The detail on him is great, the gold and the fur also the carvings on his axe.
thanks a lot! lately I've taken some of my old books of Celtic art, and I'm inspired, I had also planned to doing another illustration with an army of undead to complete the scene in the right, but i'm really busy
ehh è veramete buono!! forse hai un pò esagerato con la texture sulla pelle del tipo che sembra un pò in juta...e poi i vichinghi nn avevano quele spade lì ma vedi che ora te lo dice anche qualche altro saputo
It looks like he wears a kilt, the manliest skirt there is, love those. Great doing with the background and atmosphere. Just night I saw a swarm of crows fly over me, it really sets the mood of something being up.
